Fibre optic cable uses light impulses as opposed to electrical signals to carry data from one point to another, this means it can be used over greater distances than copper cable (CAT5e) making it easier to extend your business to another unit or office if required on a large site. The fibre optic cables have enormous bandwidth, enabling large amounts of data packets to be transported along this small, compact cable.
We are fully equipped to install new fibre optic backbones, terminate existing fibres, or customer installed fibres. We have equipment to fusion splice the fibre or our engineers are trained to install connectors via the glue and polishing method. We also have testing equipment which can test fibre links to the latest standards.
